Top modern furnished stone finca near Artá in the countryside
Surrounded by many trees and enjoying stunning panoramic views, the CAN PALLETER finca offers space for six to eight guests. Here, the authentic elements of Majorcan architecture such as natural stone walls, beamed ceilings and wooden cabinets meet modern design, cutting-edge equipment and a very high standard. Its location near the small town of Artá in the east of the island provides you both untouched nature and several popular beaches nearby.
Already on the way to the 27.000 qm (!) large premises, you will appreciate the location of the finca CAN PELLETER; on the front side, you have a wide view of the landscape, behind it the house is surrounded by many old trees. From the outside, the impression of your place is that of high quality and authentic Majorcan architecture, inside, both modern elements and traditional style dominate the picture.
The spacious, semi-open and modern kitchen leaves nothing to be... read more desired; as a highlight, you will find a chic vault ceiling, white fitted cupboards, and all the amenities you would expect: a large fridge/freezer unit, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. Washing machine and ironing set are of course also available, as well as a baby high chair.
The dining area is accessed from the kitchen via a wide open passage; from here you will enjoy a wonderful view of the vast landscape through the large panoramic windows. High ceilings, a natural stone wall, a "bull's-eye" window to the living area and the white furniture make dining here a pleasure.
There is also a panorama window in the living area, and the "bull´s eye" turns out to be a fancy bookshelf on the back ... White couch furniture, the extremely high ceiling, the widescreen TV and the warm tinted stone tile wall all contribute to a sense of well-being and comfort.
From here, an open staircase leads to the gallery, where the fourth bedroom is located. The other three are down on the ground floor, are bright and nicely furnished, and have direct access to the outside. You have the choice between the double bed in the master bedroom (190x160cm, bath en suite), another double bed (190x140cm), and two comfortably large single beds (each 190x110cm). The two beds in the attic room are each 190x90cm in size.
Both bathrooms are located on the ground floor and combine traditional and island-typical features such as the beamed ceiling or the braid at the top of the wall tiling, and modern design elements and the latest equipment. One bathroom has a bath tub, the other has a walk-in shower.
The highlight of the outdoor area is the pool (8x4m), which offers a fantastic view even while swimming due to its location on the huge terrace. You will also find deck chairs and great lounge furniture to relax; shade is provided by the large porch roof.
WI-FI is of course available; your dog may come along on request; smoking is not allowed in Finca CAN PALLETER.
In the traditional town of Artá in the northeast of Majorca, the cultural heritage and traditions are consistently maintained; the center is largely a pedestrian street with authentic restaurants and shops. The most famous attraction is the Santuari de Sant Salvador with its fortified walls over the city. The regional museum is worth seeing; The Teatre d'Artá was opened in 2001 and offers a wide choice of events. Both markets (a food market and a handicraft market) take place on Tuesdays.
Several beaches are within a few minutes´ drive (each about 10km), including Playa Canyamel, Playa Ses Barreres, Playa Costa dels Pins, Playa Son Serra de Marina, and the famous Cala Millor. The stalactite caves of Artá are 12km away, several golf courses are easily reached (Golf Canyamel, Capdepera: 10km, Golf La Reserva Rotana, Manacor - 14km, the two places in Son Servera each in less than 10km).
