Some places you just don't want to leave once you've set foot in them. Villa Can Tomeu de Llubi could be one of these places for you, as relaxing afternoons in the two hammocks suspended between majestic palm trees, for example, are extremely relaxing. The refreshing and impressive pool measures 10 metres, so you can get your circulation going with a few laps in the morning. Thanks to the open-sided outdoor kitchen, you can spend large parts of the day in the fresh air and treat yourself to a fortifying breakfast with fresh coffee after a sporty start to the day. You can also use the wood-fired oven if you fancy preparing a traditionally baked pizza later in the day. Modern household appliances such as a washing machine and tumble dryer are also at your disposal. The children can have fun on the swing while you make yourself comfortable in one of the cosy outdoor seating areas. This includes a creatively constructed set of furniture made from wooden pallets, over which you can stretch an awning to provide a little shade when the sun is shining. Right next to the pool you will find the obligatory sun loungers so that you can top up your vitamin D stores while on holiday. The house itself is very cosily furnished, which makes it clear that this house belongs to a local. In the conservatory you will find a small stove as well as a leather sofa from which you can watch great films. This room also has a long dining table in case it gets too chilly to eat outside. A wooden door leads into the cosily furnished kitchen. A dishwasher ensures that you don't waste too much of your relaxation and discovery time on housework. A sleeping area branches off to the left, consisting of a ground-floor bathroom and a double bedroom. If you turn right from the kitchen, you enter another living room with armchairs and a sofa in front of a large fireplace. From this room, a narrow staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two further double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The tasteful furnishings make you feel at home and provide space for your travelling gear. One of the upper bedrooms also offers access to an outdoor balcony with a wonderful view. The air conditioning and heating ensure that the villa is kept at a pleasant temperature all year round, allowing you to explore the beauty of this attractive holiday region at different times of the year. Far from the tourist centres, Llubí, Sineu and Costitx offer a more medieval charm, while you can also buy souvenirs in the chic town of Inca. Olive groves and windmills characterise the lovely landscape, which offers peace and tranquillity with excursion destinations such as the Ermita del Sant Crist del Remei. You can cycle to lively weekly markets in villages such as Lloret de Vistalegre, Montuiri, Ariany or Petra. Or you can hop in your hire car and drive to the seemingly endless beach promenade of Can Picafort, which is only 20 minutes away. Due to the connection to the road network, there may be audible traffic noise depending on the wind direction, but you can drive in any of the four cardinal directions and enjoy the wonderful nature of the island while hiking, swimming and walking. Villa Can Tomeu de Llubi is the perfect place for you if you want to immerse yourself in the Mallorcan joie de vivre: With Llubí, Santa Margalida and Muro, quaint, cosy island villages are just a stone's throw away. At the same time, you can enjoy the benefits of a wooded, rural location. You can sample regional wine in the leather and wine town of Inca. The beaches around Can Picafort, such as Son Baulo or Playa de Muro, are less than 19 km away. Pollença is 23 km away and is a great starting point for hiking tours in the mountains.
